As no new volunteers have stepped up, our coordinator Gwyn Root will collaborate with Carol Garr to lead a Wiccan Spring Equinox ritual at La Madera park (same one as cauldronlucks) on Sunday March 24th. Gather at 11:00 am for ritual starting at 11:30. Potluck will follow. Our ramada is reserved. Hope you can join us. All are welcome.

Thanks so much to Raven’s Nest Coven for leading the Imbolc ritual on Saturday! We had 17 participants, including a few new people, and it was enjoyed by all. Good job!

We still have no volunteer for Ostara/Spring Equinox, the next upcoming celebration. PLEASE consider offering to lead a rite, or ask your contacts if they would do this one or any other throughout the year. We have someone doing Beltane, but all the others are still available. You pick the date, time, and venue. Any form of Pagan practice is welcome! One advantage of open rituals is to allow solitaries and seekers to experience differing paths and styles of practice so please step up. Hearths Gate Coven has agreed to once again lead a public Wiccan Beltane celebration and Maypole, scheduled on Saturday, May 4th. It will be, as in the past, at Himmel Park (1st St between Tucson Blvd & Country Club). Time TBD., but usually late morning. Due to expected heat there will be no potluck afterwards, but this event is always fun.

Raven’s Nest Coven will be hosting our open Imbolc ritual on Feb 2nd. Please gather at 1:30, for the ritual starting promptly at 2PM. A potluck will follow. This one is on Tucson’s SW side at:

Our coordinator Gwyn will be leading a Wiccan Yule ritual, open to all, at La Madera Park (same one where we do cauldronlucks) beginning at 8PM Friday evening 12/21. This will not be a potluck (due to expected cold) but all will be invited to adjourn afterwards to a nearby establishment for further merrymaking. Please join us to celebrate the rebirth of the Sun God.

If you’d like to keep celebrating, SAZCUUPS is offering a potluck Yule ritual lead by the Anglo-Saxon Heathen Hearth’s Gate Kindred at 5PM on 12/22 at the UU church at 4831 E 22nd St.

A reminder, Raven’s Nest Coven will be leading TAWN’s Imbolc rite, but we need volunteers for the rest of 2019. Any Pagan tradition welcome, whether a coven or individual. Please step up and offer to help out our community!

There are many of you, not just groups but competent individuals, in our community who could do rituals for the solitaries and seekers who would like to share energy for our holy days. Raven’s Nest has agreed to host Imbolc, but Yule (coming soon!) and  the rest of 2019 are still awaiting leaders. Reminder: whoever agrees to do this can name time and place that works for them. Please think about it, talk to others you know, and contact me (carol@garden-realty.com) if you can promise to do one. No need to say you’re thinking about it. Only firm commitments count. Thanks.

Please join Carol Garr to celebrate Samhain, our honoring of the dead as well as our new year. At the last harvest the Sun God waits in the womb of rebirth, yet the wheel of the year ever turns. Please gather at Ft Lowell Park Ramada 7 (at the far eastern end of the park, in the wash down in the riparian area) at 6PM, with ritual to begin at 6:30. We will have an altar where mementos of your beloved dead can be placed, as well as a cauldron where small items can be burned as part of the rite. Come join in the spiral dance. A potluck feast will follow.

Raven’s Nest Coven has volunteered to lead the Imbolc ritual for 2019! Details are pending, but thank you so much! I’ll let you know when I know more.

I’m still looking for someone to lead a Yule rite, so please contact me if you’re willing to help out the community in that way.

Raven Shadowstar will be leading a Lammas rite for TAWN starting 6PM Sunday 7/29, at Himmel Park, near Hippie Hill. A potluck feast to share the first harvest will follow. Hope you can join us.

I, your ritual coordinator, have decided to volunteer for this year’s Samhain ritual on Friday evening, November 2nd. Time & place not yet set, but I’ll advise when it’s been determined. It will be a Wiccan rite.

We’re still looking for a volunteer for Yule, or after that. Covens, groups, or individuals of any Pagan or Heathen tradition are encouraged to step up to share with our community.
